Ok Ok

So I fell off the blogging wagon for awhile. Alot has been going on, with the holidays, my birthday, tying to get the house the way we want it, and Dylan walking, things are just insane here. We finally made our travel arrangements to go back to the states. We are flying down May 13-June 4, and we are going to Costa Rica May 21-31. I cannot WAIT fo that!! It's been so cold here (even snowed last week!) I need some sun! We've been laying pretty low...taking things easy. We've been going out on bike rides with the kids in a trailer and they really enjoy that. We also FINALLY got them some booster seats for the chairs, so maybe lunches will be more enjoyable.

Alexa is still in school 5 days a week, which seems to be a big waste of time for mommy, but that's another vent. She's learning so much! She can read basic words, can sound out any word, but blends with help of mommy. She's also learning to add/subtract. She'll be in full day Kindergarten next year, so we've been weeding out naps (which is a joy, lemme tell ya!)

Dylan is a pure joy, of course. He's so sweet and loving. Loves giving hugs, but MAN that boy is fast. It's like he has some kind of electronics alarm....as soon as you put something down, it's in his hand and he's running off. It's getting kinda annoying, but it's funny when he runs off with Chris' mouse.

Chris is being absolutely wonderful. He's really becoming more "family oriented" and loves getting on the floor and playing with the kids. To quote Alexa, "It makes my heart feel happy" when I see them playing. The kids are finally at the age where they can interact with each other and play nicely and it's so cute when they do. He also has a new hobby. Crashing expensive helicopters. He's trying to fix it....again.....because everytime he flies it, he crashes it and has to fix it, so just an FYI....if your husband EVER wants to fly a helicopter....or buy one of these things....hide his credit card and ADAMENTLY tell him NO! He gets irritated when he crashes it, irritated when he has to buy new parts, and irritated when he has to put the whole thing back together again, so he's pissed off at the thing more than he enjoys flying it...LOL.

Me, I'm good. Getting stir crazy because of the weather. I'm ready for nice spring days and Tulips!! The tulips should start blooming anyday now!! I cant wait!! We've had a gorgeous 2 weeks, and now rain is in the forecast. I'm enjoying my days with Chris and the kids.

that's about it. I'll do a better job of blogging. Now that we have someone cleaning the house, it has really elimnated alot of my stress.
